Its amazing to me when I take the time to consider the various journeys that have been involved with my theatre career.  It all started unexpectedly but completely, with trepidation but unabashedly as well.  Ultimately, even when in the midst of production challenges, I am always eternally grateful for the work I do.  My work has brought pain, frustration and dissatisfaction to my life for sure.  BUT, much moreso, my work has brought joy, amazing people, extraordinary experiences, unexpected doors of opportunity and basic fulfillment.  Martha Graham hit the nail on the head in a letter to Agnes DeMille, "No artist is pleased.  There is no satisfaction whatever at any time.  There is only a queer, divine dissatisfaction; a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others."  I'd have it no other way.

Inspiring. I am on the same path. While I know I have much to do and far to go, I am determined to do it. I feel it is in my blood. I am more certain of it now. If one doesn't continue to challenge and frustrate oneself and give up when things get tough, then one isn't cut out for a life in theater. I have given up on some dreams or put them aside for others, I am not willing to do that with this work. I wish you more luck and joy with all you do, JC!!

I'm so excited - this is really happening! My first album is really coming out! I'm now thinking about things like promotion, band, CD release party etc. I've been promoting it as well when I've been out at events. I'm lovin this so far!
